Soul Shard plus Altar is so fun. I don’t want the S30 to end when I reached my Paragon only in 2000. I hope the Lords of the Hell Season lasts longer.
3 months is already “too long” imo, seasons become pretty dead after 2-3 weeks… so 1 month would be perfect.

S30 will be the longest season yet. Maybe up to a year. You want short sessions where they are least try to change things up? Get D4 and open your wallet to all the upcharges. This game is dead.
Better increase playtime then, I’m sure there will be a future season that you’re not too fond of (I’m thinking sanctified and kill streak effects for me) so you can take a break.
Personally I’m looking forward to Ethereals which was my favorite. I see myself putting most time into this season and Ethereals and least time into anything else, maybe if they did something crazy like combine the two cube seasons that could definitely keep my interest longer but if they leave it I can’t see an extra cube slot holding my interest very long in comparison.
Fortunately for me that times out perfectly if they do Ethereals next because I get busier toward end of the year and holidays with work and right now it’s slow season for me so grinding it up!
Most fun about Ethereals was getting all 21 for the perma transmog and that is finished.
Sounds good, grinding season mid year and environmental themes at busy times. Rank 1 on 10th hr on opening day with kill streak, logging last day of season still R1

People have to work and cant play many hours a day…
Farming needs time…leveling needs time…farming for better gear needs more time…pushing needs even more time… etc etc etc

Lol right exactly! To play devil’s advocate though if I was Blizzard I actually wouldn’t do this because that would leave a half year gap of lower playtimes so to balance that out would be like Strong > weaker > strong > weaker theme.
So to make a majority consistently happy best solution would be to combine some of the weaker themes together (especially the cube ones).
I think players forget how powerful getting an Ethereal straight away is. They always roll with their max class power and if you get lucky enough to also roll a good legendary power early you become insanely powerful right off the bat with no give or take just more power unlike Shards.
Looking forward to 4 cube + unrestricted cube + auto rorg passive… 3 in 1 theme. Fun times.

That would be wild! If they even just did the 4 cube + unrestricted + shadow clones that would still be great!

…which is the thread where people not only lost the achievement for having done this but also, for some of them, they also lost access to the transmogs.
That comment was in December 2021, i.e. over two years ago, and they never fixed it.

Aw, that sucks.
Just checked, I miss the feat as well but still have the transmogs. Guess I got lucky.
(I have a feat from 2023 for “finding the secret level” which I did in Vanilla…)
