S28 Cursed Peat completed with 352 kills but not credited

Just completed The Cursed Peat event at Paths of the Drowned…to complete my 3rd and final Conquest of Season 28 to become GUARDIAN. BUT the 352 kills (350 required) was NOT credited ! Bug?!

Please credit me this conquest, Blizzard support. Took forever for this Cursed Peat event to spawn…

Unfortunately i did not expect this error or bug and did not take a screenshot of the kills stats, which was momentary. However i do have a screenshot of the chat box which mentioned that i have Bounty: The Cursed Peat event…

This adds to the frustration of seeking out the Cursed Peat event for hours …only to not have the event credited upon successful completion.

Any assistance appreciated, support team.

Anyone else have this happened ?

Not a bug, user error. The 350 kills must be done within the time limit. Once the timer hits zero, any additional kill is not counted in to the attempt.

Worked fine for me…

It’s the number at the top that’s important… not the massacre bonus at the bottom which can include kills before the time started… or after it ended.

You probably know, but just in case: You can find the cursed chest even if it’s not shown as a bounty. You’ll just have to make a quick tour around the map and look for the structure.

To add a little note to this, if you see the step pyramid like structure, it’s either Cursed Peat or Lord of the Hill. The structure is very easy to spot. It’s also usually close to the waypoint.

I might be wrong but it doesn’t work with the lord of the hill. It only works with Cursed Peat. If something has change because I tried it one time. I got well over the 350 and no credit with Lord of the Hill. I think that is why they call it Cursed Peat.

Of course it doesn’t work with Lord of the Hill. That wasn’t the point.

The point was identifying the landmark. If one sees the step pyramid like structure, there’s 50/50 chance it has the correct event.

You might also be looking for the Cursed Bellows in Halls of Agony Level 3 in Act I - this chest is also capable of providing enough mobs for this conquest.
