I’m trying to equip my enchantress with the Ring of Royal Grandeur. It’s supposed to drop in Act 1 or IV Heraldic Caches. I’m up to Paragon 400 and haven’t seen one yet! I’ve played Act 1 and 4 dozens of times. Any suggestions?
Have you done the Avarice Conquest yet?
If not, try that, missing RoRG, might have to do the 43 T13 bounties if your build needs the ring to do T16 fast… suggest public bounties, at least you get material to roll better gear too.
I think I only once did not get the ring in one season, forget which one, but get to around P800 each season.
I play PC and switch, and get around P800 on each, it is like 4 to 6 months, plenty of time to grind out for that pet…

What difficulty are you doing these on as the lower the Torment difficulty the lower the chance.

I’ve had to run Act I bounties 50+ times in the past to get it to drop and then, like magic, almost immediately afterward I start to get them in doubles when collecting the cache.
But, in my experience, these are the “break points” for difficulty that increase the chances:
Torment I
Torment VI
Torment X
Torment XII
Torment XVI
Doing the ones in between don’t seem, again empirically and not actually, to increase the odds that much.
Legandary drops for Horadric Caches do have something like break points: T1 is a 10% chance for a drop. T6 is the first that guarantees a Legendary drop from those that can drop for that Act. T10 is a 90% chance of a 2nd drop, T13 guarantees 2 drops, and T16 gives you 80% for a 3rd drop.
Also remember that Act 4 can also drop any item from any Act. (That’s where my first dropped this season)
I did the 31 T16 caches for Avarice this season and had 2 drop there as well, so if you can run T16 that’s an option, as GrumpyMonk suggested.

Just do T16 bounties.
They literally drop like candy from T16 bounties.
Matter of fact, you’ll get so many, you’ll easily get enough in a day for every character and their follower (of course you’d be doing some reforging for proper main stats) and enough to salvage.
once bounties stops dropping blacksmith plans, the will start dropping more often, it is possible for the ring to drop before this but unlikely. Always do bounties at T16 to increase your odds even more.
I already got a few this way.
No real suggestion any more than what’s been mentioned. Of course it’s sort of hard to run T10-16 when starting out…I must have ran Act 1 Bounties 35-40 times before the first one dropped…than later that same day on T-10 I actually got two…same cache…go figure.
It’s all RNG, what I do is keep running ACT 1 until I get it then focus on getting the build. There’s also some nice people in the community who will be extremely willing to help you through t16 bounties to get it. I’m one of them, Im always cruising through the Xbox community message boards.
