It is a “joke” of season 21 not ending.

I wonder if there are any adults actually being here/playing the game. From what I’ve seen, the number of complaints cause they did not end the season in time, is rather disturbing.
Nobody knows what is going on at Blizzard and with the virus being around, people should relax some more. While Blizzard might need some fine tuning overall, this is the least that should be complained about…

JTP, I suspect I am quite a bit older than you - and no, there is no excuse for this. This is sheer lack of attention to detail. They had 1 final job, and they haven’t done it.
This isn’t a mom-and-pop operation. EA is a multi-billion dollar corporation.
The season concept isn’t new.
There is no excuse - not even with COVID. It has been around since early spring.
This is incompetence - and I will remember this when deciding on whether to buy D4.
Don’t even matter with the age. It was an indications of peoples behavior on here.
First of all, it is a known fact, that there are not many left to work on D3 anymore. Second of all, as Misscheetah wrote, people might work from home and will take some time to get things through.
Or some are sick from the virus or people need to keep distance = things take longer.
Sitting on this forum, bashing on Blizzard, when you don’t even know what is going on, is disturbing.
They get no funding for D3, unless you buy it or people buy the necromancer pack.
Ending a season is not a deal breaker for the game at all and should not be complained about as much as it has.
I don’t defend Blizzard that much, but in this case I will.

If you decide buying a game from this, then you might as well not buy it at all. This is such a small matter, that if you think threatening with money is a good idea, it says a lot about you, with this given situation.
If there were bigger problems, that affected the game, just like the visuals / sound effects on the S21 theme, they actually fixed it rather quickly.
Ending a season is not a big problem. You can still play. What’s the hurry? To clear up your stash? Will it take 11 days?..
And if you are older than me and still take an offense for them not capable of stopping a season WITHOUT knowledge of their company/what is going on… Then you are rather judgemental without proof.
And that’s the issue, we are 25+ hours past the EU deadline and we have gotten no information at all.
You have gotten info. That it is delayed. It is a sticky thread on the general discussion forum.
They have a history with bad attitude and disrespect towards their customers / fans. This didn’t begin or end with a D3 season, or do I need to remind you about wc reforged. I know it is a very “first world” problem but everyone has the right to criticize. And obviouy he has the right to be careful with his wallet. If D4 , is as half baked as this season or reforged can you blame him for not wanting to spend 80
on that?
That’s a very very loose interpretation. The information we’ve gotten is “the team is aware of the issue” which tells us absolutely nothing, and given that that was the case 20+ hours ago you would hope someone at Blizz would have some more information at this point.
There is a difference in ending a season and fixing deal breaking game issues.
While Blizzard did not communicate as much as they should, not implement as much as they should, change as much as they should, ending a season is really not an issue like people claim it to be.
Besides, as written before, it is a fact, that not many work on D3 anymore, since they were moved somewhere else to either work on D4 or other things.
And with the virus going on, they might need more time to work from home or be more careful.
You can’t simply google “Blizzard” and read “well, it is a billion dollar company DO BETTER”, since every game/department got their own budgets to withhold.
Ending a season is a non issue. What are you missing? Besides cleaning up your stash and wait for the new one.
If you don’t want to support a company, do it cause it is not worth it. Don’t use that argument when you don’t got any info on what is going on and from such a small matter like this.
And they might have info. Or not. But we know there are not many working on D3, we don’t know if they sit at home and need to fix things or got connection issues that delay this problem. Should they write about that? Cause then people would complain about it.
They gave intel on the delay, when they know more, they will provide with that.
Again, ending a season is really not a gamebreaking thing.

I don’t think you got my point. I agree that it’s not the biggest problem in the world. And it doesn’t ruin the functionality of the game. That’s true. But every time it’s just another thing and they all add up.
Something like : "season is ending on that day but expect a slight delay due to these reasons " seems unreasonable to you ?
And they showcased similar reflexes in the past way before the virus hit us.
If they would need to reply everytime someone wanted it, they would need to hire someone on full time to only sit on here, doing so.
They are aware of the delay and are fixing it. You will then know when it’s fixed. No need to fill more spaces in between.

I don’t support everything they have done either and I miss some more dedications to replies on forums and some in game issues.
Hence why I went to play other games in the meantime.
I even advocated to NOT to listen too much to players for D4.
They have their mistakes as much as others.
But the person I replied to, made the statement of “if this company can’t handle this issue, I would reconsider purchasing D4”. If it does not take more than this, then he/she would most likely not need to buy D4
