S19 start date Please?

Dear Blizzard,
I know the new patch will drop sometime between S18 end and S19 start.
Some will shout it out loud that patch always drops on Patch Tuesday.
I don’t care to know that.

I have to take time off of work to play S19 start.
So please give us a date, like real quick PLEASE!

Season 19 will probably start on November 15th.

Yes, that is what usually happens.

I need the actual date in order to take the day off from work or two.

Exactly what I been telling people since It is again ending on Sunday at 5PM.

This means most players should delete loot and free up slots now that you can search quickly and delete loot efficiently rather then wait to after season.

After the seasons ends you will find out the hard way all that inventory that you have to import to a slot character so you can trash it or migrate to you non-season stash which is likely full. Lol

However, you are not Blizzard.

I need the actual S19 start date and time.

I need to take time off work.

Maybe so but I’ve been right the last 3 seasons.

I am pretty sure this season is going to start on the 22nd.

Just based on tuning, patch notes and approval, and Blizzcon just wrapping up, I feel they will need that extra week.

Maybe if we are lucky, they will release the patch on the 12th, so we can test out all the changes they made to 2.6.7 since the PTR shut down, and they can apply hotfixes to any bugs, etc…

You still don’t answer the OP.

Thanks but most of us know Season start is a short week after prior season end.

This is also likely.

Dear Blizzard just a heads up:
Please give us the official S19 start date/time!

The fact that PTR was only a week and there was no addition PTR patch, means Blizzard is ready.

There was a revised PTR patch on the PS4s at Blizzcon that had updates to both the new sets and a nerf to the barbarian Lamentation belt.

True, and the server push likely Tuesday will present final details. Blizzard still usually presents some last minute changes.

So Thepchild was wrong about the updated PTR being playable at Blizzcon for PC and other platforms?

Actually, they patched changes in and demo’d it off at Blizzcon, so there were additions/modifications, and if you have been following the Barb posts, they are not received lightly at all!

Easiest answer, if we do not get a season post this week, we will not get the patch next week or the season.

Damn, guess I’ll just put things on hold.
It does seem like two weeks might be more likely now.
Def before Thanksgiving tho! haha

Per Reddit topic these do make sense . .

  • November 22nd - Highly doubt the week before Thanksgiving
  • November 29th - Black Friday? No way

I have no idea why the week before Thanksgiving is “unlikely” like, I see no way to correlate this at all. Most people play the crud out of a season the weekend it goes live, then sparingly play the next 3 months.

I see no way it would fall on the 29th because it IS a holiday weekend, and people will be with family.

The day before Thanksgiving is one of the worse days to travel for Thanksgiving activities, online sites recommend booking Monday to get anywhere. Lots of people take part of the week off.

And most of those people do not play videogames A, B the season as I said is at its peak Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The fact some people take off Monday already is even more reason.

I see this is casual gamer logic, and I really do not care.

Nev posted earlier that she will update S19 start just before the new patch is released.

Does this mean if she puts up the S19 blog next Monday, and Tuesday patch drops and S19 starts Friday is possible?

I hope not.

This is not best for asking for time off from work.

I work 6 days a week atm.

So I would have to move Friday & Saturday out of schedule if S19 starts next Friday.
