Simple question. Did they make this one retroactive like they did for The Furnace or Gesture of Orpheus?
Considering it’s a mechanic change (which I assume will be applied retroactively for the likes of Deathwish, ES and Mantle of Channeling this patch) I don’t see why it shouldn’t be retroactive.

I get what you mean, but at the end of the day, it’s an improvement to the ring so my guess is we’re going to have to refarm it.
This is one of those times I really, really hope I’m wrong. Loving all the updates, but it’s a little bitter-sweet having to trash some of the godly items I’ve collected lately.
