I recently hit level 70 on my wizard and I am currently running rifts in order to acquire new legendaries. Is this a good approach for gearing up? I found guides for what to look for, but is there a better way to acquire exactly what I “need”?

Also, I stupidly rerolled the amulet I needed incorrectly – I rerolled a secondary stat thinking it might give me a socket (ughh…). Is there any way to remedy this?

Other than that, should I just keep putting paragon levels into intellect?

I’m also very open to other suggestions/advice that might help me do this gearing up process fun and successful.

The only way to Undo a secondary stat enchant is to Reforge in the Cube, which is expensive and not really feasible for a Fresh 70 Hero.
A good way to get the gear you need is to use the Upgrade Rare recipe in the Cube.
You can narrow the target by crafting Wizard specific items at the Smith, e.g. Wands, Wizard Hats, and Sources… Kadala can also be a good source for Orbs/Sources.
