[REQUEST] Changing Depth Diggers

Hi Devs,

As a WD player who likes Zuni and the changes to Arachyr I really, really, really want to see a change to the legendary affix for the Depth Diggers pants.

Now it is:
Depth Diggers : Primary skills that generate resource deal X - X% damage.

But would you consider changing it in:
Depth Diggers : Primary skills and skills that generate resource deal X - X% damage.

This will open up a ton of skill rune choices for the WD (darts and spiders) and I guess also for the Wiz but it might also open up Elemental Arrow option for the Marauder set (maybe with a quick and easy increased damage % addition to the Kridershot affix).

Not sure how much programming this would take but it would be nice to see it included in this or next patch.

I think this is a dangerous ask. Sure, if used just for WD, it seems fine but there are a ton of other builds in all classes that can take massive advantage of this. Ok, ton is over-exaggerating but you get my meaning. Frenzy Barb would slice through GRs, literally for example due to the compounding multipliers stacking. Monk, which is already ridiculous, would probably benefit the most or have the highest reaching GR pushes.

I get what your asking and it seems innocuous but they would have to word/program the item very specifically if they ever tried this.

PS - there are powerful skills that refund resource under conditions that have a massive multiplier and this also is where the effect as you word it would be nuts.

Perhaps something like reducing the increase of non primary skills to 25% max to prevent such stacking but also apply a buff though it might be better to just let sleeping dogs lie.

Off the top of my head, this could also affect any barb build that uses a mighty weapon (due to passive that generates resource), most wizard builds (APoC), shadow impale, and probably any necro builds that consume corpses to attack.

Coding for DD should include signature spells, not skills that generate resource. There are many spender that generate resource and they get the buff from an item intended for generators, not spenders.

No it is not. it should be though …but Blizzard had other ideas.

Frenzy already benefits from DD. All primary barbarian skill benefit from it.

Except for resources gen, they are the same. The only way I know of to make an existing skill to benefit from DD is Delshere’s Shame.

Ok, so Frenzy Barb wasn’t a great example, my bad. However with the requested wording, wouldn’t it double dip with primary skills that generate resource?

Or am I just wrong on this whole thing? Let me know.
