Or at least let some people stream the beta so we can see how much the development has progressed.

I hope we get a date soon about the beta.

I’m developing chionophobia thanks to all the special snowmen abounding with their cork noses and 10 gallon hats.

Yeah I might agree with @OP a slight bit that they may have went a bit too far with the thematics, but it might also be a key/important aspect of the game  … As long as their damn corpses disintegrate real quick

I’m not sure Maexxna changed much. The model and coloring from WoW Classic is the exact same model and coloring from her original appearance in WoW 1.whatever.

Funny story though, my guild in original WoW had a tank that was arachnophobic and they made him tank her. Could turn the screen or something because thankfully she doesn’t have any visual cues and you never need to really move as the MT anyway.

Gees, wimp much? Don’t come to Straya then. 100 degrees F is around 38.3 degrees C and that’s a common event in our Summer weather here.

As someone who has severe arachnophobia, I can sympathise with you. However, my approach, was to learn more about spiders. It was very hard at first, but the more I learned about spiders, the more I realised that 99.9999% of them weren’t a threat to me, and that they absolutely amazing animals. Learning to recognise spiders, allowed me to be wary of threat and non-threat spiders. Around 18 months after I started this process, I got into macrophotography, and this included both Insects and Arachnids. Now spiders are One of my favourite animals. Am I still scared? Yes, especially with the larger spiders (huntsman, wolf spiders, etc). Am I beyond scared? No. I have trained my brain to deal with them. I can even walk through webs in the garden in the early morning without any panic now, whereas before learning to tame my arachnophobia, I’d have been in hysterics. I couldn’t even look at a photo of a spider, let alone see One in the wild.

Might I add, Australia has some of the deadliest spiders in the world (Sydney Funnelweb, Mouse spider to name 2) that make your Black Widow spider look tame. Over the course of the years since then, I have been bitten by white tailed spider, huntsman, wolf spider, black house spider, daddy long legs. The Black house spider was easily the worst of them all, and was a pretty bad experience for around 9 hours. The Wolf and daddy long legs were because I was ā€œplayingā€ with the spiders lol, the others were in the wild bites (wrong place, wrong time).

If I was any of the developers I would remove spiders to replace them with clowns, then claim that people have clown phobia and go back to spiders again. :duck:

There are ways to slowly get rid of extreme fears of external things, concepts and Ideas.

but until the extreme fear is gone, it can be brutal.

I wish you well and hope you can find a way to play D4 when it finally becomes available.

There is a fear of literally everything. If everyone was catered to, we’d have nothing.
