I use Bone Armor stack of 15 with Wisdom of Kalan, and stack works very well to give me a good defense. The problem is the entire stack disappears very quickly (after about 1 minute) if the hero does not encounter enemies, and without it the hero is extremely vulnerable and dies easily. Is there any way to retain or regain the stack without enemies?
Nope (20 characters)
No. Having said that, what are you doing in a rift, bounty or GR that you don’t encounter a mob within 60 seconds?
He probably just doesn’t refresh it until he notices it’s running out.
To Meteorblade: If I plan my path carefully, I usually encounter enemies and do not lose my Bone Armor stack, but sometimes I realize that I missed clearing some parts of the area and I go back and forth. That is when I lose the stack. Of course, I could use Blood Rush to make things go faster, but I have 6 poison skills and Blood Rush does not have any poison skill. Also I always have to start with nothing to begin a journey. I may have to consider Blood Rush now that I get killed so often. To HunterKiller: After I got killed several times, I watch the status of Bone Armor very closely, and I know about when the stack disappears.
60 seconds is not short.
The skill only has 10 second cooldown. You can easy reset the timer every 10 seconds! However, if you could not find any monsters within 60 seconds, it implies you cleared the wrong side of the room and is backtracking to the next room…
If you read my original question about quickly disappearing Bone Armor stack, I never stated that the stack should be longer or such. I accept it as is. My question is “is there any trick to lengthen the time so that I don’t walk into enemies with little defense?” Here is another point: When the hero’s backpack is full, he/she returns to the base to clear the pack, but the process always makes the Bone Armor stack disappear. So I should not play Campaign, or pick things up?
You should pick things up you need, and then go back to pick up other things once you’re “done.” Items like death’s breath don’t occupy inventory so those are perfectly OK. If you do go back to town, make sure you’re “done” with area first. And then, before heading back in, use a way-point to get somewhere with enemies and then TP back after stacking bone armor and re-entering. Obviously, you want to be efficient so choose a location that has a bunch of enemies nearby.
