Hi all!
I’ve been reading all kinds of stuff about the Barbarian character between this site and Icy Veins, and one of the things said on Icy Veins is that the plan for Reaper’s Wraps drops when Malthael is defeated. I just defeated Malthael and I did not get the plans.
I also read a thread on this site from back in January about the same thing and would have responded in that thread (under General Discussion), but there was no Reply icon for me to click on (???).
So…did this get changed?

The plans do drop from Malthael but they’re not a 100% guaranteed drop so you may need to kill him multiple times. Create an Adventure Mode game, go to kill him, if the pattern doesn’t drop, go back to town, exit game, repeat. The pattern will drop eventually.
A better question to ask is why you think you want Reaper Wraps on your Barb. What build are you looking at that uses these?

I haven’t decided on a build yet as I’m still learning the character in addition to the whole seasonal thing. The wraps are a suggested item to look for in Icy Veins’ Barbarian Leveling and Fresh 70 Guide.
I guess I’ll just keep trying for them as you suggest.

sorry to necro an older thread. Currently sitting at 26 runs and still no plans…I have never seen the plans this difficult to get. Has the drop rate been nerfed, or is there an issue with the console ports?
Every time in a new season I kill Malt for first time I get the reaper plan.
I is regular like clock work.
Is that on PC or console? PC, they drop 100% of the time on first kill, might be different on console.
PC for me.
never played console D3 or D4
On console I always get the reaper wraps the first time I kill Malthael as long as i’m level 60, it’s a level 70 plan.
