Really 3 days before Shadowlands?

So you mean to tell me, that Season 22 will last another 4 months… and you have no time then to play it? The launch date is the least of your worries. They’ve always waited 10+ days in between… Nothing new.

Question #1:
Why do you still play WoW?

I am glad to have played WoW when it was still captivating and a good game, which was TBC and WotLK… since then the game has been a joke in many ways.
Since Legion the game has been more of a parody than a real MMO… insane grindfest for artifact power (or azerite or whatever other nonsense they put in the new expansion)…
you can farm 18 hours per day and you can’t gear yourself properly, because they no longer have proper vendors for you to be able to supplement your gear…
no time for fun or player driven activities… fake MMO…

Question #2:
Why should Diablo fans suffer, because of the crappy WoW expansion?

Since Blizzard are never going to delay WoW because of D3, that automatically would mean, that if Blizzard were to try and satisfy the overlapping fans of both games, they would delay the next Diablo season even more…

Question #3:
Why do you care about Diablo seasons anyways?

Pretty much every season since their inception has been spoiled due to some major abuse.
The quasi-competition is a joke anyways. Due to the nature of Paragon and Greater Rifts, it’s more about who has more time to play rather than who plays better, not to mention, that the way the thing is designed, it favors cheaters (maphackers and botters).

For me it was hard to not see. For several days I got a bunch of ads when I got on the internet. Not sure how they would track me as a potential customer and not others here. Maybe you all have better web browsers or browser settings than me .

Traditionally they go into deep denial and ignore it until it kills them, or not.

Start now, no now no now ! No this date, no This date!..

Come on… There could be plenty of reasons why they start when they do.
On top of that, you can complete the season journey in a couple of days and there are not many that play each and every day of a season.

Other companies are completely changing their release schedule based on another game by another studio (cyberpunk). Blizzard couldnt even change/coordinate the release of 2 of their own games better?

That just screams, “we dont care about our players and/or games”

Thats just sad.

Yeah, Zewks…hate to tell you this, but the start of S22 is not the release of a game.

Nice try, though.

Lets clarify then

Path of Exile delayed a PATCH, not a game release, because of Cyberpunk

Its not just about new game releases

I thought you already quit D3 like 5 times already?

I choose Diablo! Let’s get it!

I won’t be playing shadowlands. Looking forward to Diablo 4.

It’s in PoE’s best interest to launch patches when there’s a lull in the genre. Otherwise, people might choose something else over them and that doesn’t generate them any revenue.

D3 already doesn’t generate revenue, so it’s not quite as important if it conflicts with something else. Besides, again, a Season lasts MONTHS. There shouldn’t be any reason they need to coordinate its release - there’s more than enough time for anyone who wants to complete the Season to complete the Season.

You’re right. They should delay season start until December 20th to avoid overlap. Would that be better?

No it’s fine. I’m just quitting WOW. Yolo.

Why is it still a struggle if, more than a year ago, you said…

What I have never understood is why the rush to complete before you can really enjoy something. Whether ts the new season of D3 or a new expansion for WOW, why would you want to complete these in only a few hours. Especially with something like WoW. I’d rather take my time and savor the experience…its what I paid for.

They are like kids in a candy store. :candy: :candy: :candy: :candy:

I liked spending my time in the candy store just inhaling the flavors until I was told I had to buy something or leave. I usually bought gummy bears.
