Rathma's Not Dropping?

I’m at the point in my game where I need to start farming Rathma’s set, but no matter how many runs I make it won’t seem to drop. I did a few bounties on a lower setting before I learned you need to be on Torment, but now I’ve done a TON of bounties on Torment but have yet to see it drop?

Am I missing something, or is it really that rare?

From looking at your gear it appears you are farming T1, so it would be normal what you are getting. T1 is the 5th out of 20 difficulties. All gear pieces have a somewhat equal chance to drop (some are weighted more than others), so you are trying to get 6 legendaries out of 5-600.

Basically, there is a lot of game knowledge you need to get to T16, I will give you a few pointers to help you out:

for non-season:

  1. Get the cube. It is at the end of the Ruins of Sescheron in Act III
  2. Farm some regular rifts at whatever difficulty you can kill fast on to get Greater Rift (GR) keys
  3. Start with a low GR 10-13.
  4. Finish the GR in less than 15 min and you get the Legacy of Dreams (LoD) gem.
  5. Talk to Urshi and level the LoD gem.
  6. Put the gem in a ring or amulet
  7. Equip as many legendary/set items as you can (for set items, only equip 1 from a set otherwise you lose the LoD bonus
  8. As you level the gem, you can slowly raise the level, thus getting better drops (again when you raise the level remember you want to kill stuff fast, anything slower than 5 minute GRs is too slow)
  9. When you get blood shards (BS) spend them at Kadala and try to roll pants or boots (smallest loot pool)
  10. when you have 6 Rathma pieces, use cube recipe 4 to convert the boots and pants to the other 4 set pieces
  11. when you get your set, farm the other pieces for your build you haven’t gotten yet.

for seasonal (much easier and faster):

  1. get your character to 70
  2. do the objectives for the season journey
  3. after chapter 4, you will have the Haedrig’s free set for the season which is a 6 piece set
  4. if the Haedrig’s free set is not Rathma this season, you can use the Haedrig’s free set to farm Rathma as the free set will allow you to farm much higher than you are now

These are really bare bones methods to gear up. I would go deeper into details, but it is dinner time. There are a lot of guides online on how to level and gear. If you are struggling with game mechanics, ask in game or here on the forums. You will run into some d-bags, but if you ask politely, the majority of people will be willing to help you out.

Maybe I’m looking at the wrong Armory Profile. But, Bones of Rathma is a Level 70 Set. You need to be Character Level 70 for Level 70 items to drop. (That includes gambling with Kadala).

If you’ve trained your Blacksmith to Level 12, you can craft Sovereign items to upgrade in Kanai’s Cube. You can get Rathma’s that way, before you reach Level 70. However, you’ll need lots of Death’s Breaths, as well as Parts, Dust and Crystals. If you’ve unlocked the Anointed Seal on the Altar of Rites you can even equip Level 70 items before you reach Level 70.

Note: You can get Level 70 items on ANY Game Difficulty. However, the higher the Difficulty the more Legendary items that drop. So, farming the highest Difficulty you can efficiently, the faster you’ll get items you want for your build.

Am thinking he is talking about his non-season, which is level 70 and P60. His seasonal is level 13 which, even on normal, would only take a few bounties to do.

With the exception of set items. You need to do T1 or higher to get those.
