After a lot of testing with d3planner and in game, I just don’t see any ethereals that can out do Jesseth’s Set. You can possibly make a T16 faster version or low GR, but for higher GR, Jesseths is better. It would have been nice, if Rathma had a small tweak this season. But like every season, anything done last season, that needs some more work, is forgotten. It makes me think that a different dev is pulled each season to work on it.

They probably have a small number, like 3-5, programmers who they cycle/rotate on different projects with two assignments only: 1) do something, anything, but you only have X weeks and 2) nerf the witch doctor sets but you can make whatever changes to the others you want, especially if it leads to an outcry from “fans.”
So, yeah, whatever was done before is lost by the next mantle.
