Hello,
I ask about where to aim boulder toss (directly on enemy, in front of enemy etc) because sometimes Ill chunk half of the enemies health with one boulder toss and other times Ill take off no health at all.
Anyone have any advice on optimal aiming of the boulder toss? Would appreciate it, thanks!
Edit: Want to mention that the question might seem silly as you would just aim the attack right on the enemy, but I ask because as I mentioned there is varying results doing it this way in terms of health taken off the enemy. Thanks!

In good pulls, position monsters against a wall so The Legacy of Raekor Bonus procs land on them more often.
So, with mobs preferably next to / near a wall, aim slightly in front of them so that the boulder splits and all of the splits land on them.

From the same page there’s also this from the bit on Bloodshed:
Because Boulder Toss playstyle can be ranged, positioning is important to maximize your damage output. No Escape procs on targets more than 15 yards away while Bloodshed wave has a 20 yard radius. As a result you have to stay between this range to optimize damage.

I just started trying Raekor and was quite surprised to see that Boulder Toss isn’t actually a “Toss” with a parabolic path, but more like a cannon shot flying straight out from you. Thus, sometimes I launch it at a group of mobs and it miraculously flies between every single one of them and disappears off-screen, not doing any damage. It certainly takes some time to get used to!
