I’m playing currently a build based around hydras (freezing ones). I’m playing the following composition: teleport, hydra, arcane armour, magic weapon, a signature spell and magic orb (freeze rune). The idea behind this one is that hydras clear everything while my hero runs around trying not to die and occasionally attacks with freezing orb trying to freeze (im using bane of the trapped to increase damage). Since I have 2 primal ancient weapons - a wand and a source, I wanted to add a socket to each of them and add an emerald to further increase damage. Now my question is: do hydras benefit from critical hits? If not, using ramaladani’s gift now would be a waste since it would not benefit me at all (the damage at T16 of my hero is pathetic, only hydras kill enemies).
Well, that’s obvious… Typhoon is Hydra only, so there’s no multiplier apart from Hydra on it. Also, your Unstable Scepter is nice. There is no reason not to use a Ramaladni on it, since Hydra can benefit from CHD.
One thing though, you are currently using Primordial Soul and Elemental Exposure. To make full use of this it would be wise to not use another cold skill. You already have cold from Hydra and Arcane from the Min/Max damage of your weapon, so I would suggest you use Electrocute or something else to get at least a fire or lightning stack, ideally both, for Elemental Exposure. Doesn’t matter which skill, its damage is puny no matter what thanks to Typhon.
But it should be clear, that neither item, weapon or source, is optimal for a Typhon/Hydra build…

And if you want to use your weapon as it is a nice one, can look into arcane orb build with DMO set. Very fun build and can do t16 very easy.
