Also how would Tyreal return as an angel? Is it possible for a fallen angel to regain their wings?

Who knows? But he is mortal and decades older - The new Deckard Cain I suppose.
From my understanding Heaven has closed its doors to Sanctuary, so I doubt Tyrael would rejoin Heaven as that would mean that he too has abandoned humanity, which I find somewhat unlikely as Tyrael has almost always been a devoted defender of Sanctuary.
Blizzard had touched on this before; according to them the process to turn Tyrael back into an angel would be incredibly difficult, almost impossible even.
Tyrael is still an angel as the Diablo story is pretty much still where Diablo 2 ended. “Diablo” 3 is a non-canon spinoff.
Tyreal returned to heaven as a mortal, and became Wisdom, as he felt Justice had been served.
This happened at the end of D3.
And MADKAT, just because you SAY something, doesn’t make it so. I could say that the Star Wars prequels aren’t canon, but it doesn’t make it so. Canon is what the dev’s and producers determine, and the franchise owners. Not us.

He would return as spirit fuel to angel source and reincarnated as a new angel at a later time and perhaps in the past 70 years that cycle has occurred many times over or not yet (new angels are born completely different personality and skills).
At the end of the “Storm of Light” novel, Tyrael chose to leave heaven and returned to Sanctuary.
As bad as the story is in D3, pretending it never happened doesn’t make it go away.
I mean… when he dies, wouldn’t he respawn as an angel in the world stone?

I must admit to not reading the books.
And the World Stone was destroyed by Tyreal at the end of the LoD expansion.

Also angels aren’t born from the World Stone; they’re born from the Crystal Arch. Furthermore, it’s unknown if Tyrael could still revive within the Crystal Arch (as he’s no longer an angel), and even if he could, there’s no guarantee that he’ll be the same Tyrael that we knew. After all, apparently angels who die aren’t necessarily reborn, instead they’re replaced by new individuals. Tyrael actually reviving from the Crystal Arch (and retaining his individuality) could be considered an abnormality.

There are a few possibilities I see.
Either Tyrael has died since D3 and we’ll track his story back in tidbits during the game.
or He’ll fulfil the role of Cain as our link to the previous story and guide us through our travels.
or he’s the current host for Diablos soul and has sealed off heaven under the guise of being an angel and is slowly breaking free from Tyrael so we’ll get to watch Tyrael be consumed and have to avenge him.
Either way, I estimate Tyrael’s chances of being alive by the end of D4 to be pretty darn low.
Returning as an angel would be a pretty serious deviation. I don’t expect it.

He will come back to guide us during the game but at the end we learn it was Lilith taking his form 
and that he died long ago
