Question about resolutions:

I have a question here… I’ve noticed when I go to select my resolution, it has this extra dimension at the end. For instance: it’s 3840x2160x23… what is the x23 or x24 dimension? Or is it not a dimension at all… it is not indicated anywhere so I was wondering what it’s purpose is. Thank you for the explaination!

I believe the third figure is the refresh rate, i.e. 3840x2160x23 is a resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels, at a screens refresh rate of 23 Hz.

Ok makes sense, I’d been playing at x23 thinking it would run better lol… thinking it was performance related lolol. I was wondering why the game looked so choppy on my 120hz monitor lol. To the programmers, I believe this is a bit confusing for some, however, this might be a common practice and I’ve never noticed it before. Anyways, question answered!
