I have PTR installed on my computer, it has always worked in the past, but now the PTR has trouble repairing and scanning on my PC. I have been using NIS Norton virus protection for years and the PTR has always been able to update properly and I have always been able to play it until now. Please fix this problem ASAP.

It’s common that things can break in between PTRs. After all, it is a test realm, and not certified to update flawlessly between PTR deployments. The first step any of our support folks will have you try is to uninstall and reinstall the PTR client.

I have the same issue. Reinstalled ptr twice now - keeps says it needs to install a new patch but it wont prompt the patch install
This happens to me from time to time with the Live games as well. I end up having to reboot the PC then run start the launcher again and run scan and repair. I have it set up to auto update so it should not need me to kick it like that. No idea why it happens.
Try the reboot of the PC and restart of the launcher and see if that helps get it settled.
thanx for the reply but trying everything - reinstalled 3 times now, can/repaired 5+ times rebooted and checked for updates. Trying beta launcher and normal
Hey there - not sure if you’re still having issues - or if you tried this yet, however what fixed this for me was to delete all the files from the D3 ptr folder then reload the launcher.
It’s unlikely, as the opening post is from February 2020, i.e. a year ago.
