From all community feedback they only removed Fissures from Greed’s Realm and hid + paragon sign after 800 para… it just hurts

Well but seemingly the final ones we can test.
Therefore I doubt that they will change anything about Visions of Enmity and class items.
Paragon cap change might still happen.

I think in this case it is the players that were tone deaf. They did warn us this season would be very limited before future seasons go on rotation. We’re expecting a usual PTR instead of believing what they said.
Many people treated S28 like it was the final season and in many ways it probably was. I was also hoping they’d do some needed cleanup to get the game into a better state for maintenance mode but alas that doesn’t appear to be happening.

IMO any cap will be hurtful to season length. When I have gems done every GR when reached cap feels like waste of time coz you only get bunch of useless items. Give us at least +1 to main stat above cap so there will still be something worth playing.
There is a theory that after release of D4, D3 became only marketing tool - you can serve other games ads in battle.net to people going back to d3 season.
Paragon blasters generate lot of server power usage so to cut the costs they introduced paragon cap.
People were talking about paragon cap for years - why they do this now?
Blizz only wants you to get back to season, but they don’t want you to play long.
