This is my second real try at PTR. Two day in and I’m P180 at T10.
I can’t find any public games open. Why?
Because of very low ppl on the server.
Ehm, because there’s really only 2 difficulties that are worth anything on PTR.
T6 and T16.
- They’re playing at T16
- People aren’t doing Bounties because the PTR Bag of Fortune contains hundreds of Bounty materials so you can get thousands of these with the bloodshards from a single GR run. Only people that need crafting recipes might be interested in running them but that brings us back to the fact that they’ll be doing it at T16 if at all.
- People don’t need to run Nephalem Rifts on the PTR because when you salvage Ethereal weapons, sometimes you get GR keys. So, you run your very first Nephalem Rift for a couple of GR keys, and buy lots of PTR Bag of Fortune, which will result in GR keys. Once you’re running GRs you’ll get so many bloodshards per run that the salvaged Ethereals will result in a net positive number of GR keys.
As an example, I’ve only done a single T16 Nephalem Rift the entire PTR. I’ve run some T6 Nephalem Rifts whilst giving people 1-70 boosts but I’ve run loads of GRs and the Ethereal salvaging has me with almost 1000 GR keys.

This is the PTR and not regular season/non season D3.
Like MeteorBlade says only use the town vendor for bags of fortune to get your flawless royals in the color you require and reforge every thing!
