Hey I played and pushed a bit with the new Chicken WD on the PTR and heres my feedback.

The new Chicken buffs are great for speedfarming. 0,5s for each chicken was a good buff, but we still got the problem with Ring of Emptiness that slows down every single WD build in higher GR Speeds. Would be nice to have some other item with the Wormwood effect for better locust swarm spread.

The 75% dmg reduction for manajumas was a great way to add dmg reduction to the build, but the arachyr toughness bonus still needs a visual buff icon. (In big pulls you dont see the webs on the ground)

Since we cannot use any skills during the chicken and the littlte chickens dont count as hits. Its hard to get healed with the build in high GRs. Would be nice to get the old healing mechanic back in the Arachyr set bonus.

Its a bit annoying to always be forced to use enforcer if you wanna use the new pet mechanic when pushing on the Chicken build. Why not give all pets 90% dmg reduction in general and let the enforcer only be there for dmg buff.

The Single target dmg of the chicken build is very low. Its the same problem as with Spirit barrage before the buff to manitou. Some kind of single target buff mechanic would be great here or a better way to stack up stricken then using manitou (Let the little chickens stack ups stricken?)

I think thats all I got to say about the new chicken WD. Overall great build, but some little improvements would be nice :slight_smile:

Do you think Chicken Arachyr was designed to be a push build or just a speed running build?

If chicken is only meant to be a speed T16 clear, then single target damage and stricken is not necessary.

If chicken was only meant to be a speed build, do you think it will get nerfed?

right now on PTR its both the best Speedrunning and Pushing Build for WD. So they either have to nerf it and buff other WD Builds for pushing or make its dmg oputput for pushing more balanced between single target and area dmg.

Just curious, have you tried chicken with any other sets besides Arachyr?..and do you think any other sets are viable?

And, I agree that

…maybe tie the Wormwood effect to the Manajuma’s mojo…

only Arachyr set buffs the Hex skill. And the new exploding chickens created from your pets do not scale with pet dmg, so you cant use zunimassa either.

Are you talking about using the ‘all skills’ instead of the ‘can not die’ token on the follower?

no Im talking abou the legendary gem “enforcer” that gives your pets 90% dmg reduction. If you wanna use the fetishes as an extra bonus dmg with the new effect of cluckeye you need the enforcer gem for 90% dmg reduction or else your fetishes die on higher greater rifts before they can sacrifice themself for extra dmg with the cluckeye.
