Arreat’s Wail : also deals 3400% damage as [Fire] to all enemies within 15 yards of the Barbarian when activated - useless
Insanity : also increases all damage done by 50% for the duration, not multiplicative to other similar effects. - already using so useless
Slaughter : while active, Critical Hits have a [chance]to create an explosion of blood on the target, dealing 300% damage as [Physical]to all enemies within 15 yards of the victim. -useless
Striding Giant : also reduces all damage taken by the Barbarian by 50% for the duration. - useful but not much better than aquila cuirass
Thrive on Chaos : also grants additional [Life]per [Fury]spent for the duration. The amount of Life per point of Fury spent scales with level, up to 826 at level 60 and 5364 at level 70. - almost useless

Striding Giant and Thrive on Chaos are both kinda useful. It’s a nice addition to the Barb that usually only could use Insanity.
But yeah lets face it, it’s not more than a good Toughness/Recovery Buff and not the dmg buff that Barbs so desperately needed…
Yeah. 3400 wep dmg is kinda big. But just one hit every cd isn’t going to do much. Plus don’t you wanna pop all that before you get into trash. Life per fury and life on hit and all that has never saved me.
Striding Giant and Thrive on Chaos are huge, not mildly useful.

They need to make Slaughter do 3400% and find something completely different for Arreat’s wail.
They are completely useless. It doesn’t matter how much toughness you have if you can’t do any damage. Barbarian damage is 7 times lower than other classes which is clearly explained in the proposal.

problem what many ppl and blizz doesn’t get is that we lose 1 item either cubed or equied for morticks bracers so that those 50% dr for example are already in use or with adp’s even more so apart from that healing it either can’t be used in a build or gives almost nothing (healing)
and the main problem with barbs is their dmg (and the way dmg is dealt, wallcharging for most of that)

I used to think the Barbarian was the best class. The whirlwind barb my favorite class to play, but then I discovered the Unhallowed Essence set multishot Demon Hunter and I fell in love.
Hopefully I’ll have time to dive into the other classes more frequently in Season 18. The Crusader is the next class I plan to learn. I’ve played it before but never became good at it.

Simple just buff one of the Berzerker skills. I tried Morticks on my hota…meh magefist was better, Problem is no zerker skill really adds much damage. They need to buff one of the skills for zerker.
Crusaders were trash clearing 125 4 man last(this) season and RGK 150 4 man

ok i know that crusader have a little bit more damage in solo and maybe in groups but, i thinkboth of them have some useles runes in those “transformations” and they should be modified, to something better (buffed)
It’s actually very underwhelming, considering rank 100 Pain Enhancer DoT does 2500% weapon damage per second.
I still remember early RoS Fire starter FoTH. At one point D3’s damage scaling wasn’t as stupid as it is now where if it doesn’t say increase your (skill) damage by %, it’s garbage.
3400% weapon damage is big…4 years ago. Now Manald Heal deal 14000% weapon damage and it’s underpowered.

the complain is that berserker is already in use and even when we are able to fit in morticks it won’t do anything because we either lose 1 item that previously gave us toughness or even dmg
the complain also is that we would have needed that item back when it should have been introduced and a couple of seasons later
the complain is that barb class has so many broken useless items there was plenty of stuff that would have been useful (with an easy fix)
and the complain is that they said they do barb and it looks like they don’t…

Would something like this help the build perhaps?
Morticks bracers, for every bleeding enemy you hit your damage is increased ##% for a period of time.
Or keep the bracer as it is, and make on of the WOTB runes like this, the useless 300% one seems rather pathetic.
Ok this would probably only help WW, but it’s just a suggestion anyway

No, it’s not. It gives some defense, that’s about it.
What’s the problem is, ww needs perfect rolled gear to perform, and even then, it’s lower than other builds.
Raekor needs to ramp up it’s damage with charge stacks. No other class needs that, and can dish out damage MORE and faster than raekor can.
So no, we complain, cause they told us, they were not finished with Barbarians.
And we complain cause we got nothing for 2 years, while every other class did.
Pointing out that other classes have similar issues does not negate Barb problems. Be an ally or stay in your lane.
Fellow Barbs and allies, the sad truth is that Mortick’s is, at best, a lateral item for 2 builds, and not useful overall. It’s a rubber bone thrown to starving dogs–far too little, far too late.
