For the past week or so my husband and I will be playing (PS4 - Couch co-op) and his controller seemingly stops responding. The toon will run by itself and he has to hit buttons multiple times for them to work or execute the action.
He is always player 2.
These controllers are just a few months old and are kept very clean.
We’ve tried other games and the controllers work perfectly. It only happens in D3.
At the moment we are not doing seasonal play, just our normal toons.
Tonight we tried a game where he was player 1 and I was player 2 and my controller started glitching, shortly after his glitched as well.
It’s becoming very difficult to play.
There are forums dedicated for console versions.

swap controllers over and see if the problem swaps to you.

are you wired or wireless with the controllers? if wireless, try your husband wired and see if the issue persists.
