So, as a good boy does, I have been buying all blizzard games for any transmogs/pets for diablo 3 for years now. So I have all previous things for diablo 3.
I am obviously stupid so I don’t really see any difference between the new Diablo 2 Resurrected “Prime Evil Upgrade” and “Prime Evil Collection” except the Prime Evil Collection costs $10 more. As much as I like giving all of my money to blizzard in hopes of that money progressing future progress, I’d like to save that $10 if there is literally no difference.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is, and why the “collection” costs $10 more for me than the “upgrade”?
Collection = You are buying D2R + D3
Upgrade = You already have D3, you are buying just D2R (along with the other bonuses)

The price break down is:
D2R $40 USD
D3 bundle $10 USD
D2R themed cosmetics for D3 $10 USD
Upgrade just takes into account any portions of the D3 games you already have and discounts the price. You would only get the upgrade if you want the cosmetics for $10.
If all you want is D2R just get the normal $40 one.
