I think I have been quite lucky with primal drops as I have only been playing about 6 months. For example, I got a primal magefist which really opened up LoD sets built around fire damage, and for my Barb I got some primal legs that were in the set he uses.
This post however is to invite people to share their most useless primal drops.
Sanguinary vambraces dropped for me. I don’t have a crusader (the class that benefits the most from thorns - based on what I have read), and my Barbarian uses the “seismic slam” build so very little is hitting him…so that was a primal I wanted to salvage.
Gift of Silaria was another - It dropped on an WD so had intelligence on it, but even if it had been Dexterity for my Monk or DH I have better more appropriate weapons for those classes anyway…Gift of Silaria has nothing special on it (that I can see - I would welcome being shown otherwise)
Every single piece of Blackthorns Primals. They drop like rain.
It rolls with movement speed as a 5th primary stat.
I salvaged a few primals that I could use for my builds, but they dropped bad. I know that is not suppose to happen but they did. 
Also salvaged the third primal marauder gloves I got and the third natalyas x-bow…
Besides from salvaging the normal primals that are not usable at all.

I main WD, and I seem to get a Primal Coils of the First Spider each season…been through 4 of the damn things.
I’ve salvaged all four of the Mempo of Twilight primals that I’ve gotten, plus a whole lot of other dross.
I bet it would be easier for others to answer which primals they kept rather and the other 99% they salvaged. Lol

Never had a single Blackthorne primal drop at least this season 
I do not salvage any primals even the worst ones… Just to remind me how “great” primals are
