few days ago i got primal thunderfury with my necro.
what build can i use it ? its a shame to have it and never use it.
That’s the story of about 95% of the primals you get. Just salvage it for ash, and make a new, actually useful primal.
Give it to your Templar.

Yes, you can. If you believe in yourself! Seriously, scrap it or give it to your Templar - it’s really not that great of a weapon. The dmg your follower does is irrelevant to game play (they are there for the buffs and emanated powers, not for fighting) and you aren’t going to use it yourself. More valuable as Primordial Ashes.
Then go back to WoW classic and earn one there. In D3, which you’re asking about, it’s salvage bait.
more value to just salvage it and get the 55 primordial ashes rather than making it fit into some sort of build. You can also equip it on your follower but generally speaking you don’t want any type of extra CC from multiple sources due to diminishing returns. Also a regular TF would work just as fine on the follower it doesn’t even need to be ancient.
