Primal Gear Drop Rate and such

Returning and still learning
Hello everyone,

  1. How best condition and way to get Primal Gear… like efficacy level, where, solo or group?
  2. I notice whenever i solo most of the time a fallen angel is spawn and follow me till she got kill… what causes such a spawn and how to enable or disable it?

Thank you very much.

Regards

Primals can drop anywhere in any difficulty both solo or group. Rule of thumb is the average is about 1/400 Legendaries will be a primal. So the goal is to get as many legendaries as you can in the shortest time you can.

Greater Rift Tier 90 or higher will get you 12 items with at least 10 of them being legendaries. So, you want to be running in those GR tiers in 2 minutes or fewer for most chance at Primals.

As far as the bug you’re describing, no one is sure what causes it. It shouldn’t be happening really often though. Anyway, the mob, I think, is actually dead as far as the game goes but it didn’t register it, so that’s why you can’t target it and do damage. If it’s preventing you from getting gem ups, the only solution I know of is just going to a different floor and porting out and then exit the game and restart it.

It’s been reported numerous times but hasn’t been fix’d so we just deal with it.

Some of your followers are equipped with “Skycutter” (“Chance to summon angelic assistance when attacking”).

Is this the effect you are talking about?

Once you soloed GR70 and unlocked Primals they can drop anywhere. Most efficient way to farm them are usually from speed clearing GR90+, or Vision fissues in case you get burnt out from running Greater Rifts. As mentioned above though, efficiency is important so you better stick to farming bounties a while and clear Visions if you can not run GR90 in 2-3 minutes.

With 1,925 Seasonal Paragon Points, they should be able to run GR100+ and get 12 Legendary items a pop.

Thanks, that is exactly right. On looking at my follower, i did find one of them wear the “Skycutter”.

Thanks again everyone for the help too, appreciate it greatly.
