Hello, Ever since i completed the Altar (so i would get double primals), i have got almost 10k unique and set items yet 0 (ZERO) primal items.
This is not normal.
Please investigate ASAP!!
It should be 1:400, and not 1:40000…
Sorry, but there is nothing to investigate, bad luck is still not a bug.
And 1:400 is a rate, not a truth.
I have kinda said this many times. Blizzard never ever gives us drop rates. It is done by people sitting in front of the screen 24/7.
On one of the accounts in the family has already got 5 primals and just got to 600 paragon. I have always said primals drop when they drop.
I got call a cheater one time. We did like 6 GR’s in those 6 GR’s I got 6 primals. 3 drops of 2 primals each time.
I don’t worry about the drop rate. I’m just happy I get them when they drop. LOL
If you have amassed 10K souls without getting a primal drop then it’s definitely not normal.
There is a drop rate but it is based on statistics from a huge amount of drops. Best option is to farm visions in Act 2 Temple (or Cow levels) and continue to make new games.
I haven’t gotten a single Primal and I’m P818. Other than the first one you get when completing a level 70 GR. I’m so frustrated that I might just stop playing this season. I have the alter completed except for the Primals. I play over 8 hours a day so this is just NOT right!!!
It’s not just bad luck in 80+ hours of play after getting the first primal in the level 70 GR I haven’t received a single primal. Now I get that sometimes you go days without a primal . However I’m P818 and not a single primal has dropped.
On my BigRed account I have finish the season journey. Did over half the Altar and only have 1 primal. You just have to live with you get.
Plus the bad part of all of this. How many ashes can you have that you will never ever use in next 100 yrs. They never do any thing about that too. They should do something about the wasted ashes that set in your inventory.
I’ve finished the season journey as well and all the alter EXCEPT the last 2 that require primals. I play at least 8 hours a day and most days more than that. Blizzard f’d something up cuz a LOT of us that have been playing for years have never had this much problems. So say what you want they F’d something up.
So…
About the OP:
When I replied yesterday, I had checked the OP’s profile, was drinking my coffee, and didn’t want to be too harsh first thing in the morning.
The OP had a primal Shield with perfect stats for each of their Crusaders (2):
- Str
- CHC
- AD
- FoH
2 solutions:
- a) Op was very lucky to obtain two primal shields with good stats.
- b) Op crafted their two shields, so they needed other primals to do so. And this is, in my opinion, the correct answer.
In any case, the “zero primal” is not valid, so the 10K, sorry but I have trouble believing it.
About you:
80 hours of gameplay, 860+ paragons, and 1 primal? I’m at 60 hours, I have 1000 paragons (and I’m not the most efficient
), and I’ve gotten a total of 22 primal (6 for the altar, then 8x2).
So, without wanting to be unpleasant, it’s more of an efficiency issue than luck.
On that note, good day or night, and good farming

RNG is RNG.
I played yesterday with a mate - Visions and GR’s, most of the day together. He even got a double drop in the same Vision.
He got like 10 Primals at least while we played together; I had only one drop of Primals in the same timespan.
This morning, 2.5 hours of play, nothing, 0 primals, and not even one interesting ancient.
This afternoon, 15 minutes of play, 4 primals, including 2 that don’t recycle, one good ancient.

I just need one more to finish altar, but the ones that have dropped are exactly what I need.
In times where I don’t receive one for a while, I always end up getting a bunch all at once. Just keep playing man:)
No see I lvl people (at least 1 or 2 people a day) and try to be nice help them get their gear ,drag them through some portals and Neph’s. Once 70 I run gr’s so they can get the gems they need and such. I’m not in a hurry to get more paragons just would like to finish the alter. But GEEEE thanks for not being unpleasant.
Maybe try farming “solo” or with another player if you want it to be more efficient.
The more players there are, the less effective it will be.
Regarding helping other players, it’s very much appreciated; I’ve been doing it for over a decade.
But ultimately, I realize that I’m more efficient solo. So I play SSF, and that doesn’t stop me from helping other players in chat ![]()
I agree, it is more efficient playing solo. However, I have more fun helping others. In all my games. So it slows me down lvl wise but enriches me in other ways.
And I understand you, I’m not going to rehash the time I spent helping other players, and then I found “faith” since the SSF mode appeared. You can help and focus on yourself.
I’m available in the chat for “stupid” questions while farming.
Afterwards, it could be the occasion for another “philosophical” thread: “How are you feeling in the general chat?”
In the French chat, it’s cool, but in the NA chat, it seems more complicated.
I have been here from day 1. This just how this game has always been. You have some people they drop from the sky like cats and dogs. Then you have other people only get 25% what those other people get.
We have 4 accounts in the family. There is one account that I use for the USA server. That account has had 5 so far and is about 600 paragon this season.
