Has anyone used a Primal Puzzle ring in the cube to open the portal to the vault?
I’ve used plenty of Ancients in the cube, and those end up being really good. They blow regular legendary Puzzles away.
I’ve been sitting on a Primal for quite some time but am getting curious. How does a Primal compare to an ancient? Is it ridiculously epic?
Ancient and Primal Puzzle Rings have the same result:
An ancient vault

Nope gives the same effect as an ancient, which isn’t bad.

I am still holding out on the wise crack “We heard you and doubled it.” Basically, the Primal Puzzle Ring is twice as good as an Ancient one, thus… giving you… DOUBLE the goodies.
It kind of sucks that they aren’t better than regular ancients. Could even do something basic and simple like higher gold and double gems, no need for even more goblins or something.
I once got a Puzzle Ring as my first primal. Might seem sad but it actually gave me quite a boost to get an ancient vault so early on and much better than the majority of times we get one that is a straight salvage anyway.
Has anyone tested to see if this works? If so, that’s super funny!

But you can’t craft them, they have to be found puzzlerings.
I always hoped that the Primal Puzzle ring would have the same goblin population as an ancient puzzle ring, but all the goblins would be flavor goblins instead of normal ones. I still have my hopes up, maybe for D3’s last patch before D4 is released.
In a similar vein, I’d really like to see ancient / primal Bovine Bardiches cause an Ancient Not The Cow Level where all the cows are elites, or something.
That’s not a bad idea. All elite cows would be kind of insane but fun at the same time.
It should also contain Cow Goblins.
Thanks for giving me an idea. Not only should there be a load of murderus goblin cows, they should be gelatinous. That would bring the term overwhelmed to a new level. 
So elit gelatinous little cow goblins that don’t flee. Might i add that with every split they get tougher?
Primal Vault idea: Put a goblin shrine in every room, on top of the allready existing goblins in the room.
…and this is how season 28 season theme was born. ^^
