I’m lawling hard given the 2 threads stacked together.
There’s good elements in both games, I hope the devs understand this. Also, D2 = no endgame. D3 = bad endgame.
So maybe D4 can bridge that.

Well, good news - D4 is a major title for both console and PC supposed to cater to a huge audience, most of them casual.
So you are out of luck. Stick to POE or D2.

Here’s a crazy idea: why not take some of the good aspects of both D2 and D3, add in some new stuff and thus make D4 its own entity?
This may come as a shock to some but there are some good aspects in D3. Likewise there are some really bad aspects in D2 which should never return.

D4 needs to be D4, maybe ala WoW-ish. Only in the sense that it will open up Sanctuary like never before, as in an actual WORLD. I, for one, am looking forward to seeing all of the Lore Classes from D2 and D3 in D4 w/the addition of new classes to make it a truly new and exciting experience. But that’s just me.

D2 did not have any competition. Now several clones are on the market.
D4 should be new and ground braking not just a rehash of something old.

The problem is that people can’t agree on what the good aspects of each game are.
When people ask for stupid stuff like inventory tetris, it’s hard to come to an agreement.
