Please double veiled crystals when salvaged

It’s a huge nuisance atm to have to constantly cube convert more of them. QoL please.

  • Go to Battlefields of Eternity, take all white items, salvage them.
  • Do a rift, take yellow items
  • Go to the Cube
  • Use the recipe to convert Reusable Parts with your yellow items

Problem solved

Put your other 7 accounts to good use…any self-proclaimed decent player should already know that by now.

Veiled crystals are already the most common material. How can one potentially run out of them?

Yes/No.

Pretty much, but I understand where you are coming from.

Only issue I have, Forgotten souls, at 50 a pop per roll…
THAT takes a long time to add them back up.
I’ve got 1000 of each bounty mat but can’t use them chasing a damn compass rose!

In season you can run out of just about everything if you don’t make an effort gathering stuff.

In season you don’t need more than 5k VC’s total to go coast to coast, from Ch1 to Guardian. Easily done within 2 weeks of playing 3-6 hours per day solo.

Then again, unlike the OP, we don’t need 8 accounts to manage that…

OP has 5 seasonal characters. With upgrade rare, enchanting costing 15 per pop, I can see him running out of VC.

Double VC when salvage is not a QoL, but a buff. Asking for 200, 300 per convert is (getting yellow item to convert basically only costs gold so).

Basically as stated, go get whites from armor stands and such. Each white gives about a quarter inventory worth of yellows and with the conversion in the cube, its easily to get a lot of VC.

I think the only reason it seems veiled crystals are in low supply is because death’s breaths are in such high supply due to the follower changes. I used to get tons of veiled crystals while I was farming DBs, but now, I got DBs coming out the wazoo and have to farm the crystals. Maybe they just need to add a DB converter option? I dunno. It’s just not that big a deal I guess considering the entire game is basically all about farming.

every good player has this issue, it’s just a quality of life request.

Nothing would be harmed by increasing veiled crystal per salvage to 2 or 3. I mean just lower Reusable Part salvage by the same amount to maintain balance if it worries you.

just doubling is dumb…give it as bonus to a never-used-crafted-set(guardian maybe) and we are good to go. And make that set emanate.

this guy sure is not using convert mats recipe.

Well if someone doesn’t play much and rolls stats on gear they will run out of yellows fast.

The concept of playing the game for a couple days w/o any crafting at all is unknown to the casual.
OP should know that after two days of no crafting you are loaded with mats.

You’d think with 8 accounts OP would’ve learned something by now…

There are 2 reroll recipes in the cube to make veiled crystals, use em.

yah that’s extremely rude thing to say, and he’s one of the smartest people that play this game. Literally has a German Engineering education.

it’s an unneeded inconvenience and un-fun time waster. Just balance the mat drops.

I find it more annoying that you can:

Salvage one white item and get like 7-10 parts

Salvage a blue item and get 1-4 parts

Salvage a yellow item and ALWAYS get 1 part.

I mean what the hell? Why is that even a thing?

Did you ever stop to consider that some of us strongly dislike this crappy and unjustified way of dealing with the problem? Especially since you can only convert a measly 100 at a time?

So you just have to do it ten times to get a thousand crystals. A full inventory will give you several thousand crystals in no times. We also get a steady flow of crystals from rift guardians and from Kadala. Other things in the game can be much more tedious (like spending the crystals at the Mystic again to get perfect rolls).

people like you used to argue with me about how i should just shut up and keep doing Greater Rift Key trials to farm my GR key levels…

you’re wrong.
