You’re still stuck thinking there will be massive bots and dupes from playing the original game. That’s not going to be the case at least for a while after D2:R first comes out.

OK. Don’t blame me if I don’t take your word for it. 
Bots do kill the game, for me at least they do. I wouldn’t say Enigma is something that would have such affect on the game though. Removal of Enigma wouldn’t remove bots, but would affect the game in other aspects.

Removing teleport would prevent people from easily skipping content very fast. Hopefully it would promote more party walking and balance the game more in terms of MF efficiency.
That is my reason for disliking Teleport. I believe the game would be better without.

Enigma is the reason why ppl still playing diablo 2 20 years later.
You remove enigma, you remove PvP.

bots dont really affect me in prime d2 patch 1.09
because he make cow level
bot only farm the npc store to buy cruel weapon 300%dps and make pindleskin mf run
bot never pose a major issue in patch 1.09
dupe are more the main issue and is nothing compare the 1.10 to 1,14 bot plague , baal run really make everything worst with Enigma
Yes it does make it worse, but the source itself is not Enigma. Bots would still operate without Enigma just not at the same output.

but this will be a lot less effective and versatile because monster immunity in all the word
bot will only farm 1 spot because monster immunity but Enigma allow every class so monster immunity is less a issue also back in the old day you have to level up your merc
I am not all that familiar with botting, I don’t know how they would, but I suppose there are ways around Enigma, so they can probably set instruction for bots to farm without enigma, say a hammerdin to still do chaos runs without tp in an efficient way.
But like you said, most would just operate a cold sorc in Baal runs or other places without cold immunes.

maybe is to slow that why in 1.09 they just try finding cruel item from npc and make pindleskin mf run and sometime i see pindleskin killin them lol

part of me understands your call, but i think your not seeing the whole picture.
imagine diablo 2 without bots and dupes, getting enigma would be extremely hard,
ladder is 4 months long lets say.
the impact of such items wont be so huge, but if you get a chance to have such item in this situation, youd be so happy. that would bring sick joy, specially after you worked really hard for that.
theres a reason why high runes drop rate is so high, when the devs made these runewords, they didnt plan having all these bots and crap.
in a fixed world, enigma should be pretty balanced.
People sure do lack intelligence, without an infinity on the market sorc runs might be hozed to be im your bus to baal throne room and dont expect jack didly squat from me til baal. They actually need to tweak hr drop rates or make it personalized loot = 8 man runs 8 times the loot not 8man runs with loot for 1 person. It is ok for someone to get enigma or infinity, It is not ok when only people paying botters can.
Normal run throughs you usually get an el to sol to drop and would have to do 100 runs to even get an um typically. 8 man runs its a little better but … you have scum of the earth click baiters clicking to no end or automation clicking to beat anyone else to it.
Enigma is the great equalizer. Teleport is the most powerful skill in the game. 09 was dominated by Sorc/Zon/Barb. Even with synergies most classes would suffer without enigma heavily.
This should be a hard no.

I have one thing to say, just be glad they are making a refurbished Diablo 2 with better graphics.
Enigma has become a big part of Diablo 2, If you don’t like It then you don’t need to play the game. Let other players who enjoy Enigma use it, It doesn’t ruin the gameplay for you. If you like it, wear it and If not, don’t wear it.
People who wants to help other players with Quests, Runs or MFing.
Let them do it If they want, It’s their own choice what to do.
Don’t ruin It for everyone.

I don’t think people realize how rare Enigma will be simply because there won’t be armies of bots that were farming the Jah and Ber runes to make it. (Hopefully Blizzard keeps it that way.)
Those that do eventually get an Enigma will need to put the many hours in the game to find and trade to make it.
That’s true, and I don’t think many people have Enigma within 6 months or more.
And there are also people who complaining about the Drop Rates, and want it to be higher.
Sometimes I really don’t understand people, I like it to be low. It makes it more challenging. Challenging is fun because you have to work to get what you need.
People can just get more MF then you have higher chance to get the nice stuff.
Save Naj’s Puzzler and any teleport charge amulets or circlets you find, people are going to want them.
