As the title says: please bring Menagerist Goblins to The Vault. They’re already rare enough as it is and farming Puzzle Rings should at least give you a chance at a pet if you haven’t gotten them all. Just a simple request that can make running regular Vaults somewhat desirable.
Vaults have their purpose, getting massive amounts of gold, gems and items.
Just run some rifts/bounties with a fast farm build, you’ll run into Menagerist goblins soon enough.

You barely get any items from regular Vaults unless you run into a Gobulus Goblin. Gold is nice for empowering rifts and gems are scarce as well. The highest prize is Boon of the Hoarder from Greed whom usually only drops around 2 legendaries even at t16 Vaults. Adding Menagerist Goblins wouldn’t hurt anyone and their loot table returns to Elite when you’re full of pets so why not give an incentive to those that want to collect the pets?

Yeah, but allowing Menagerist goblins to the vault would make it easier to get pets. It would be yet another change amongst many that have turned Diablo 3 into a lazy game. Other than the cosmetics, it’s literally just a npc that picks up gold for you.
I like the chest that spits out gold when he runs around.

I got lucky enough to get that one but I still think that since D3 is in its retirement phase that there’d be no harm in putting Menagerists in the Vault. Rainbow however should be the hard to find ones for the Wings to prove you wanted to the hunt.
Why? some of us have put it the time to get them, the game was been so watered down already just to make things easy. Just look at all the buffs. I hope they take a different approach with D4.

Too many people want everything given to them without investing the time to get the items they want. To these people I say: Come on, if the game gives you everything at the start/very quickly, why even bother playing it afterwards? Do you want a game to play or not?
Nah, the pet drop becomes an item drop… Ok mostly a wasted gob.

make the pets be smart loot if a players has them all simply make them drop extra gold or increased chances of higher grade loot up to and including legos

Bingo, you got that right. 
It’s usually the newer players who want everything to be easy. The old timers’ had to work for it. Similar to life today. I had to work for what I have, my grandkids what everything given to them. I tell them to put the phone down, get off of the couch and work for it. They just look at me funny and go back to the phone.

That could work, I suggest they will start will drop GR keys and bounty mats instead, after you have all the pets.
Most kids these days got it easy. The problem is they are oblivious to that fact and want more more more. Gimmie gimmie gimmie!
I walked 1.5 miles to and from school every day, uphill both ways even when there was 1/2 foot of snow on the ground. 
Honestly I wouldn’t mind if you had at a 25-50% chance of having a Menagerist Goblin in the Vault and if they dropped at least the same amount of bounty specific materials as the difficulty you play after you got all the pets from or allow the BIG goblin (forgot his name) to drop bounty mats…
Before anyone says I’m new and want everyone right now without spending time to farm the pets like everyone else did, well this isn’t my main account well not anymore and on my 2nd account that I play right now I have 2209 paragon in current season and already all in game pets from the Menagerist Goblin…
A lot of kids or young adults have grandparents and/or parents who had money in accounts that they inherit. I stress over my kids as they are young and have to be brought up in the world right now.
I would change this to “Please Give Menagerist goblins a purpose.” Sooner or later, even if you’re not actively farming for them, you will get all the pets, at which point running into a Menagerist gob becomes somewhat frustrating: Here’s a rare gob that drops nothing of interest. At least Whimsy has a lot of loot even after one has found the Cosmic wings, so the rainbow gobs still serve a purpose even after you have found the grand prize.

Maybe once you get all the pets from the Menagerist Goblin, he could drop 2 random ancient items and 1 primal. It’s not like you get to see a Menagerist Goblins everytime you do bounties anyway and it would definately give a reason to farm bounties even more…

I had a B/W TV that only had 4 local channels, and I had to use a screwdriver to change the channels, one of the channels was snowy and it was the one with all the good shows. My Father would have my brother go up on the roof to move the antenna just to try and get some reception.
