Bug i’m frequently running into is with the pets pick up and salvage items altar power, my pet is sometimes just ignoring items on the ground that i haven’t yet picked up myself
It will be caught between 2 items, and it will dash back and forth between them before changing its mind at the last second to go back to the other 1 and then not pick up either, or sometimes it jsut flat out ignores them as if they didn’t drop.
When killing a bandit shrine, or sometimes a blue goblin, the pet will just stand there like 
and not do anything for like 15-20 seconds, and then it will only pick up half the items and leave the rest.
Also i don’t know if this last 1 is a bug, but i assume it is because if it was intended, it’d be a little bit silly
I’ve had my pet pick up and salvage transmog items, i assume it’s not supposed to do that? or at least ignore transmogs you haven’t collected yet?
Twice now i’ve seen it pick up the helm of the cranial crustacean, and i’ve gone over to the mystic and checked, and i do not have that transmog

Confirmed, this happened to me too. Many times, the pets don’t even attempt to pick anything up at all. Playing as a witch doctor with multiple pets out.
Yeah. I reported this in the PTR. The Pets’ AI could use some tweaking even without the Altar of Rites Husk Seal.
You do know that the Husk Seal refers to Cosmetic Pets, right? Not your Skill Pets or Skill Companions.

Also note that ground pets seem to catch on stuff here and there and get stuck on tiny edges/lips. Using any of the floating pets like the skulls or the starcraft ship have helped me a lot in making sure stuff gets picked up

No, I don’t. They should probably change the text to mention that…
Yeah pets picking up transmog is probably the most annoying thing since the only way for them to not do it is to not have a pet. I hope they just didn’t think about that and will fix it.

In the French version of the blog, we have:
Les mascottes ramassent et recyclent les objets communs, magiques et rares.
“Mascottes” are the Cosmetic Pets.
In the game, on the Altar of Rites, it says:
Les familiers ramassent et recyclent les objets communs, magiques et rares.
“Familiers” are the pets you summon with your skills.
So the writing on the Altar is wrong…

I like the term “mascots,” as it allows one to differentiate between the cosmetic and gameplay pets. Blizzard should have called them that from the beginning.
