Perfect build - Primals -Extra dmg?

I see on Maxroll that my gear is 94% perfect. i got mostly primals exept for rings.

Will this give me extra dmg and toughness as described on maxroll?

I can see this at d3planner

“Perfect build” (primals or not) doesn’t give extra dmg.

Skill and knowing how to play a build is much more important than gear. Sure, having perfect gear helps, but knowing how to optimize your playstyle is much more important.

It’s kinda tempting to confirm what you have said, just to validate players when they decide to go into an unending lootfarm instead of hitting Greater Rifts… Anyway, when considering “perfection” of an item, system not only consider by offense aspects but go by desired stats for offense, recovery and defense besides how far the stats are compared to upper limits. The perfection score you may have lose is insignificant and if it bugs you that much, it can be ailed by defense/utility buffs, grinding for higher augments or covered by stats from your other equipment.

Of course it will give you more damage and toughness over less perfect (and correctly rolled gear).

Will it give you more skill? Nope.

As others have said, gear is important, but is not always as important as:
correctly rolled gear
skill choices
skill of the player
paragon
getting the right GR

If you use Maxroll’s character planner thing, you could import your current hero’s details. Make a note of the damage it does. Then, in the planner, change all of the gear that isn’t already primal into primals. Make a note of the damage it now does.

If the difference is less than 17%, it’s not even enough difference to go up one GR rank.
