Said this already, but I’m glad they went after chantodo instead of the vyr set. I’m no barb expert, but I hope these changes appease the barbarian community if only a bit.

The S19 theme seems… interesting.

To be honest I wasn’t expecting to see new sets yet. Nice to see they’re starting to roll them out. Crusader or monk for S19, that’s the dilemma now.

I’m actually glad it’s not some free legendary power or set bonus.

I was not either, even though they discussed the future plans in August. I figured maybe they might reveal them in one of the normal Diablo talks during Blizzcon (not opening ceremonies). Just one of the normal path forward sort of talks.

I wonder if the new ones will be in the Haedrig’s rotation for the next Season.

D3 going to have such?

I have no idea! If they did, I would have expected the new sets might be part of that. Maybe they won’t really get into D3 much and will have something else to talk about?

I really don’t want to speculate too much. We will find out when we find out I guess.

Interesting buff, too bad most of the game’s maps are half empty to see the full effect

I would love to listen to the Classic Team dev’s thoughts about D3 future tbh. Seems like finally someone has a plan for this game.

Really good! Love the new Monk set. Crus looks a bit boring. The season theme could be quite interesting, esp in public games.

I went over the notes, pretty fast because I don’t bother anymore, hardly.

S19 buff looks good compared to S18, but I have one stupid question… you don’t increase the GR cap?

I have one question: If you choose to copy your characters across to the PTR, can they be the S18 characters or the non-season ones?

Memory says it copies the whole Americas account but that it makes all chars Non Seasonal. If you want to play the new season with the new buff you have to start a new Season PTR char. Nothing you do or gain on PTR will transfer back to Live. I am sure you know that, but just in case someone here is new and was not aware.

OK, thanks. I can use a non’season monk to start with.

Should Phalanx be added in the Crusader set?

The season theme could be very interesting for clans and public games - when to bale out and take the kill bonus, when not to - I can see plenty of disagreement…lol

Monk set seems very disappointing. The request was for tempest rush focused set, not as an utility buffing tool.

SW runes dont provide enough base damage on top of head. Anyway that will be my major testing build on ptr.

I suspect it’ll have something to do with vicious cows.

The change to vengeful wind means it has also provided a buff to Sunwuko. Raxxanterax had a build with Cain’s and Sunwuko for keyfarming on T15 so now it should easily do T16.
