last week the season suddenly ended early. now that the season is back my paragon and alter is set to 0. my paragon board shows negative points. I’d like to play more before the season officially ends on the 19th.
Your Paragon Points should not be “0”. If they are, you probably clicked the Reset button to redistribute them. (Sorry for your loss).
If you hadn’t reset the Paragon Points, any new Points you earned would have reduced the negative numbers and allowed you to continue leveling your Character. As it is, you now have to level your Character from scratch. However, you did not lose any Paragon experience you have earned. (It will all balance out when Season 33 ends, for real, next Sunday).
Here is my Demon Hunter’s Paragon Points on the Americas Region after the Season 33 restart. (I have not played her since then):
The sad part is Blizzard screwed up and made no effort to tell us how to proceed after the restart.
The negative Paragon Points are those that were transferred to non-Season when Blizzard prematurely ended Season 33.
Is there any correction to occur with regards to the premature rest, or will this become the norm for any future season activity?
