No job is worth the abuse taken on these forums.

The good news is the job does not include posting on the forums, I don’t think.

The Influencers are the streamers, website guide writers, etc. That is generally handed in Discord and/or through emails and individual chats.

they will provide a valuable point of contact at Blizzard for a wide variety of creators, including YouTubers, streamers, fan sites, cosplayers, podcasters, and more

After reading the job posting it actually sounds like a LOT of fun. Basically you coordinate between the fan sites, streamers and other online entities other than mainstream media or reviewers. It’s a lot of culture-building and community outreach.

There is not a single sentence that leads me believe that they will be immune to posting on the forums though.

Ugh. Being required to interface with services like Twitter and YouTube is an automatic pass, hard, and to the left. Hope whoever sacrifices what little remains of their soul enjoys the quagmire of disillusion that will succor at their heels.

They will not be able to post on forums if they want to start moving away from the forums.
