It’s about time someone from the Dev team communicated with the player base about where D3 is heading until diablo 4 is released. If your going to keep rolling out seasons, time to introduce one of the following to keep leaderboards relevant.
-Set a paragon cap for seasons moving forward or maybe set brackets for paragon so players can play against similar powered players.
-Stat squish us down so we can keep chasing the 150 solo clear
-Buff everyone enough to make 150 solo possible and call it a freaking day and let us just smash faces for the next 3 years till D4.
Some clarification would be appreciated though because every time you buff or nerf something we have constant feuds on the forums and in game. There is no group play balance at all whatsoever. This is a hack and slash game and we still have supports, why cant we bring in hybrid characters that can dps and provide support and mix the bag to clear a 150 doing that.
Can someone from the Dev team please explain the direction you want this game heading, are you not sick of seeing the constant complaints about balance on forums. Maybe its time to hold a actual open dialogue with the player base and let us help you balance the game. Its not like this would be tough to gather info and could be done in each classes forum tab.

More important is not d3 but more input on d4. Blizz caves to masses not good game play. Find a balance there first. Look at why they did wow classic? More gameplay please.
What are we suppose to input on D4 we cant even play it yet and they aren’t exactly doing a open beta field test for all the players in NA. Which maybe they should and get the feedback from the player base.

I understand your intention Aysrian but asking things without being able to test them in my opinion defeats the purpose. IE Trading in D4 awesome!! how does it even work? What is being prevented to keep abuse from happening? Every ask has multiple factors that need to be accounted for. The dev team could show us in the coming months by acknowledging and using our feedback in D3 to show they are paying attention to their player base.
That’s true Dkoi. Are not all post about change things that have not happened. They need to get a bit more of the d4 demo going. Hopefully we can get more beta d4.
There is information about introducing a set for every class. So thats something. Next, we know that dev’s are tuning numbers and season themes presently. From this we can deduce in the near future they are introducing sets and adjusting values to items, and likely developing new seasonal themes. The game is considered finished with the exception of the oncoming sets I reckin’
Totally agree Obechu but in the meantime what do you do with D3 when its a constant pit of toxicity, a lot of the player base is so toxic at this game its no wonder there are so many botters. Alot of this frustration comes from a lack of direction for the game itself, I wouldnt mind if they came out and said these are our goals, this is what were going to do to achieve them and this is what you can expect till D4 but just tell the player base is my argument.

We are anticipating quarterly updates too! I am aggravated but now I am coming to terms my expectations far exceed whats realistically going to happen. I am coming to terms that I have very little influence and business implicates my little perfect world; so i digress and will just ride this through.
Ya it was a great thought with no freaking follow through, I mean how hard is it to type a couple paragraphs once a month to let everyone know what they are thinking for D3’s next season. I swear companies these days have no idea how to use their most valuable resource which is the consumer, especially with such a smart and active player base that Diablo has always had.

I think the best direction for D3 is a release with offline support and modding capabilities, so the community can take care of the game and evolve it.
But if that is not possible a simple developer talk/post about the future of D3 would be very appreciated by the community.
Once you start crossing that bridge all you end up is endless topics, it’s bad enough where everyone gets upset with a nerf.
Good side it did decrease the D4 blight that took over the D3 forums. 
Wait for the quarterly with Diablo 4…
Until then keep popping up ideas for Diablo 4, and give them feedback…We will be able to actively track how the game is progressing, but spending all their time replying here is just going to create a negative stir…
I heard it is heading to Bahamas when D4 is out (or PoE 4.0)
