we had lots of issues this season with lack of souls vs bounties in visions.
we get this note
“Whisper of Atonements can now be salvaged for 1–3 Forgotten Souls.”
i can understand salvaging the KEYS for 1-3 souls.
but salvaging Atonements for 1-3 souls is just like adding 1 extra legendary at the chest which does nothing.
the whispers are actually so useful, you would have to be braindead or a bot to salvage atonements lol

From what I saw in the PTR, Visions are dropping more legendaries and fewer DBs and keystones.
That should help make up for the lack of Forgotten Souls.

I believe they removed that in the last couple of PTRs.
nope its still there, shards, drops and gold are all boosted heaps and xp

Are you sure? I only see increased experience gains and double Blood Shard drops. But, not the 2000% increased Legendary drop and Gold they used to include. And, I have no way to check it in-game at the moment.

Ran some visions on PTR and in season of course and leg drops felt about the same. Definitely not 2000% increased, that would have been totally out-of-the-window.
I think the real issue are gems here. You don’t get any from visions (unless you get a goblin vision which are pretty rare) and you are soon stuck with ancients and 125 EN gems and no normal gems to augment.

well this season, salvaging soul shards has a chance of giving flawless royal gem.
plus ancient puzzles are still very useful with broken crown on, i basically keep it on my follower permanently.
its 2000% increased magic find. u get like 700% in t16 or something
Dunno about you but I tend to end season with plenty of those left over. Salvaging is better than vendoring/dropping on the ground.

That was definitely not active last PTR I played. 2000% bonus would be twice the difference in drops as going from T8 to T16, and that is impossible to not notice instantly.
Broken crown is completely broken this season. It only works if you have a normal gem in your helm, not with a soul shard.

i didnt play much of the soul shard season so i didnt know that broken crown didnt work with them, well that does suck quite a bit…
guess you will have to swap out for a normal gem to do puzzle rings with…

Its not, 2000% drop rate of gears had long been removed since PTR v2.7.3 (s26)
To improve the PTR testing experience, changes have been made to the bags sold by Djank Mi’em. Starting with PTR 2.7.3, we have removed the increased Legendary drop rate buff to allow for more precise drop rate testing.

hmm i guess im wrong, sorry folks.
always felt like the buff was increased because i would end up with almost 30-40 legendaries by the time i hit 70 lvling
I got that on live as well in ssf. 11 legendaries on equip and about 25 fs. Was running lvling w.o using CR cache.
Beg to differ (and agree with Kargon):
I’ve seen some of the streamers with entire tabs full of Whispers.

if you arent using the whispers for lvling aug gems, why are you massing out EN’s?
thats just a waste of time hahahahaha
edit: yes i know people who had whole tabs of multiple gems for aug lvling…
but thats from massing gr’s like crazy so may aswell lvl them while doing speeds.
but doing endless EN’s are a total waste of time if you dont need the whispers

I always keep a small stack of screams exactly for that purpose. Instead of running them through several T6 rifts you can run a single nightmare and have them maxxed all at once.
