It does seem that D4 is becoming D3 + cash shop + better graphics.
Does that mean you are coming back to d3 and do you really think that your posts have influenced anything?
You have been touting other games and bashing D3 for a while.

The point is D4 become “D3” is a great news.
My post don’t have to influence anything as it is a reality unless D4 revert their decision later about making D4 a D3.
And what does it had to do with me returning to D3 if D4 is going to be modern D3? If anything, it only makes me want to play D4 instead.
Also i don’t kind remember about bashing D3 as my memory wasn’t as good now. Care to give an example to jot my mind back? Preferable with the link of my post.
Without even reading the OP, let me guess, he mentions DI.
How runewords and socket runes are any Diablo 3? How difficulty scale impacting your armor and resistance ratings are any Diablo 3? It’s becoming the mixation of both Diablo 3 and Diablo 2, and it sure is great that it worth a celebration. If anything, the itemization started to resemble Primal and Ancient grade system we had in Diablo 3 but it’s undeniable that you can see reminiscence of any previous installment when you dig the details. That’s something that you shouldn’t have missed when you played the previous titles…
They cater to all fans of the series because they need to do that to maximize their sales and profits. This direction is chosen by their paid experts and evaluating their metrics from millions of players. The developers won’t lay a red carpet on your path just because you liked ONE game from the franchise and have been cheering for them. Your individual opinion will not hold any weight compared to their metrics and crowd who have been following them from the start. I suggest you to rub your eyes and read the patch notes of Diablo 4 over again.
I don’t bother with digging your post history but I remember you glorifying Diablo Immortal compared to Diablo 3 at every chance you got. You may not have that impression but I suggest you to read your own Diablo Immortal threads opened over the course of months at this very forum section dedicated to Diablo 3 General Discussions at some point. I believe you’d see why an outlier observer would think that, when you read them objectively.

Diablo 3 won? My gawd, this isn’t a competition between Diablo 2 vs Diablo 3 vs Diablo Immortal vs Diablo 4…
Blizzard’s direction for Diablo 4 is leaning towards more of that like Diablo 3 and it’s worrisome. You may have forgotten, but Diablo 3 had two expansions lined up, but The King of the North expansion was scrapped when Blizzard realized that they weren’t going to make enough money by selling it.
Is Diablo 4 improving in the general sense by making the game closer to Diablo 3? Possibly so, but in doing so, they are also leaning towards to the same failings that Diablo 3 had, which is alienating the silent majority of players. The players that been complaining the loudest, and thus been part of the shift in design for Diablo 4 to be more like Diablo 3 are the ex-Diablo 3 streamers. Sadly, the ex-Diablo 3 streamers want the game to be like Diablo 3, but they LEFT Diablo 3 because it was a dead game after they got what they wanted from it.
My concern is Diablo 4 is going to repeat the very same history of Diablo 3. Diablo 4 will release Vessel of Hatred, and pending how well received AND more importantly, how much money Blizzard makes from it, will decide whether or not Diablo 4 will continue to receive expansions. It woulds be incredibly silly if Diablo 4 stops getting expansions do to a poor sale of Vessel of Hatred and we never end up having Diablo in a Diablo game.

All I want to know is did Bravata quit anything again?

D3 King of the North was canned because it doesn’t have MTX. Not because it was selling poorly as D3 + RoS sold 65 million copies in a lifetime.
Reportedly, Blizzard Entertainment was reluctant to commit to a second expansion because Diablo III lacks a steady revenue stream (aside from its Asian, free to play model), whereas most of its other games involve either a subscription fee (e.g. World of Warcraft) or microtransactions (e.g. Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm), therefore the game has low profitability compared to other Blizzard games in most regions

D4 has MTX so it won’t end up as D3 2nd Expansion as long as enough people (whales) support D4 MTX.

When the RMAH closed, they should have simply opened a cosmetic shop to replace as they eventually did with D4. We could have gotten that 2nd xpac and most likely more for D3.

Diablo China has an MTX shop and if I am not mistaken, it also sells cosmetic stuff. So they have no excuse why they can’t do the same for Worldwide D3.

Game magazines started a world-wide outrage the moment some data miners found some assets hinting towards a micro-transaction shop back at 2015. Blizzard stepped in, said those are not really for everyone, but backlash didn’t cease. Finally, they restricted the MTX shop to China region only when it opened to avoid all of this.
Currently, China servers of Diablo 3 are shut down by January of 2023 but since Bobby Kotick left the leadership, there are rumored to be moves toward re-opening D3, OW and WoW servers between NetEase and Blizzard. I don’t think they would induce micro-transactions all across the other regions, the moment China server re-opens as game way passed its prime right now.
You’re not alone in that regard. Their track record for the past decade is less than stellar. Sure, they recently said something about “we should have listened” but that doesn’t mean they’re going to.
Thank you for this. We were just wondering if you were still obsessing over Bravata or not. Question answered.
Sure they do. How much is even being spent on it. Just because something has MTX doesn’t mean it’s making good money.

As long as the
s continue to support D($) and D4 (shop/BP) they will do just fine.
Like the obsession you have with me you hypocrite.

Believe me, there isn’t a soul in the universe who is nor has any reason to be obsessed with you.
Keep letting Bravata live in your head rent free.
Edit: Did a search, found 30 posts just of you obsessing over him.
D:I is a D3 made into a daily chore devoid of challenges, unless pvp. I don’t see how D:I improved anything other than to add changes to fit its form.

It didn’t, which is why it’s the lowest rated in the series.
