Old God's Know Who

A sky, should be there, there should be a sky. Everyone agreed silently, without speaking, that the inner world they had been told about, should have a sky. It did not matter if it was real, or if it was a sanctuary they could return to. They just wanted the world back in some sense. I think it is a staatement, that declared the serious nature of what was witnessed, that being a world from first light. The mutations or demonic forms might have existed, due to any number of factors, and some where more like a miners heart, than a demon. Whatever they where, if they got there hands on a man, they could crush armor like it was only cosmetic. The nature of the design has led to further exploration, into the historical background of possible cultures, but it is a modern mythology, not a historical one. There are some examples, of the design of an apocalypse, humans given powers, that can only create a result designed to survive one from many. The sky was the mystery, a simple background black and darkness, and hidden wraith like movements. There was no way to see it as a fixture to identify day or night at first, though it did become clear that there was one. No one saw anything at first, until a captain said they thought there should have been a sky. How could there not be.
The world was a darker form, uneven, and with unreal dropoffs, cliffs, and depths that made it look unscalable. There are no paths or reference points, so the star it might have been had to be calculated by a supercomputer, or already a part of someone’s dream. But just how could anyone have seen visions of first light, and not wanted to fight the demonic images crawling through the dark world. The window of time was short, it eventually responeded. The sky was just darkened, that’s about all there was to say. The Android creations where not really feeding on anything, it looked like the human element had simply failed, and they where all that remained in motion. The images where confused, maybe for that reason, or maybe human beings want simply to believe that a greater power will save us regardless of where humanity might look in the stars.
The forms then could have seemed like a logical test, or an attempt to make sense of a system. A self was the only common truth, that even came close to explination. The science of a weld, is the same no matter how miniaturized. That was maybe the only clue besides the basic form. If it was a code X of skills, then there should be a sky, at least, even if no one knows what planet it is, or how close to a 360 day orbital path, it has. It almost fits into our mythology of what might be a form of life besides that of human design. It is that very question that drove exploration, but there was very little chance of further expression of perfect dark.
