I currently run a community for OCEANIC players for D2 (over 1000 players so far). We simply can’t play on current servers. The main reason for this is the desync on teleport (being a sorc / any endgame build with enigma this simply puts us at a massive disadvantage and makes the game simply not playable as intended).
After one teleport, we simply just stand on the spot cast teleport 2-3 more times, mana disappears and we stand in the same spot.
This begs the question all 1000 of us have, Are there going to be oceanic servers.
The current system simply does not work. Blizzard has not released any response, it really is unacceptable ethically to market and sell a game that fundamentally does not work as intended.
Game works perfectly fine as intended. When you tell a character to do an action, it does it just fine. Latency issues are a you problem, unfortunately.
No one complained about the black wall of death when the game came out, it’s just the luck of the roll

Also, you are asking in the wrong section. This is D3 General Discussion where D2R developers that prefer gathering feedback at the D2R forum or Diablo Reddit.
Well, if the market is not big enough it does not warrant the cost of setting up dedicated servers. I would imagine that is an issue for just about any game if you’re residing in Africa.
Using the words “Blizzard,” “Blue,” or any community team or development team members’ names in a thread topic is frowned upon.
