Launch PTR. Receive message that there is a patch required and that the game will close so that it can install. Game closes and returns to Battle.Net client. No patching takes place.
Navigated to %ProgramData% and removed Blizzard Entertainment and Battle.Net folders (cache). Does not remedy issue. Repeated the above steps, then rebooted machine. Does not remedy issue.
It would truly be nice to be able to test during this “extension”. At this rate, there will only be three days of playable time before the patch is considered viable and determined to be a release candidate.
This is exactly the expected behaviour whilst they’re updating the PTR server but haven’t made the client patch available yet. As Blizz have said any number of times now, they’ll update the forums when the PTR’s back and available to end users. Just keep an eye on…
Ptr is working. The new patch is for the new updates. I saw some people get in. So don’t listen to others that need to fill their post quota for the day
