If, like me, you experience no sound in Diablo 3 (Running Windows 10 here) this fixed it for me.
Open Settings > Sound > Advanced Sound Options/App volume and device preferences.
Unmute the D3DProxyWindow (After I unmuted it it came up as Diablo III)
This worked for me.
