I have tried changing the sound settings, reset to default, uninstalled the game, reinstalled the game. Verified all the sound works on Heroes of the Storm and Starcraft II, no luck with Diablo 3. Any ideas?
have you tried changing the sound device source in d3 settings? sometimes that works.

I’d normally recommend to check OneDrive first to ensure it’s not auto syncing with the User Documents folder. After that we’d try deleting the Diablo III folder form inside the User Documents which is where the preference file is saved. Do this while the game is closed. The file will be re-created the next time you open the game. This will default all game settings which should ping the system for default audio devices.

I am now having the same issue. No sound whatsoever only in Diablo 3.
