I am using the Roland set and was excited to see it includes Shield Bash. So I went to the Maxroll website and I tried to find their build for Shield Bash but it seems like it’s all only for Sweep Attack? Which is cool too don’t get me wrong, but I want the build for Shield Bash. Does anyone know where it is? Thank you

Big thumbs up to Deadset at IcyVeins for keeping a lot of the lower pushing potential builds alive all these years. His listing of stat priorities on the gear is also more useful than Maxroll’s presentation for most players.
Though, note that he’s got Hellfire Amulet on this spec which, whilst allowing access to more passives, is a big damage drop from the usual Squirt’s Necklace. Might be worth trialing between the two to see which one you prefer.
It’s a shame that Rolands never promoted a playstyle that alternates between Sweep Attack and Shield Bash… that would have been cool.

I made the build now but I made it the way I like because I don’t like the Shield Glare thing or using the Pound rune.
I think Hellfire it’s because there are so many passives required for the best shield bashing, like Heavenly Strength, Holy Cause, Divine Fortress, Hold Your Ground, and of course Finery.
Combined with Justice Lantern and Blood Brother is really great.
It would have been cool if instead of just sweep attack or just shield bash on the legendary items that affect sweep attack or shield bash, if they affected both skills. I don’t even think it’d be OP, it would just be cool. Golden Flense and Denial with Shield Bash would be cool and make other runes useful. Same with Drakon Lesson bracer for Sweep Attack. Or the Flail for the last 5 shield bash it could be last 5 sweep attack as well.
Idk why they didn’t just put me in charge of the game for 1 day to implement these types of changes/improvements
