So I just finished my solo 70 even did a 75 and got no primal. I am new and had a friend help level me and gear me then went and did the GR and didn’t get a primal. Am I doing something wrong? Are primals still locked for me?
Season 21 does not start until July 3, 2020.
Guaranteed Primal drop for your first Greater Rift 70 or higher Solo is only during the Season (with a Seasonal Character). You’ll also get the Achievement: The Primal Soul-o.
In non-Season you do not get the Achievement or the guaranteed Primal drop. But, if you successfully completed a Greater Rift 70 or higher Solo (meaning you killed the Rift Guardian before the 15-minute timer expired) and your Blood Shard cap is 1200 or greater, then you have unlocked Primal drops for all your non-Season Characters. Note: Normal Characters and Hardcore Characters are separate.
Conclusion: This is NOT a bug.
