While doing split bounties I received double caches exvept for a single instance where I was dead. The bounties for that act where completed and turned in while I was dead.
I got only one cache for that act.
Fyi I died at Malthael who died as well. Had to wait for the animations to complete to revive at corpse and too late.
Now I know I should not have waited for those animations to complete. Just revive immediately at last checkpoint or town.
Bounty cache is more important than boss loot (and its chest).
Nevertheless, I believe it should be fixed though…
Edit: I did have enough inventory space, the boss loot fit after reviving.
The cache wasn’t on the ground either.
Strange indeed unless your inventory was full.
You did have enough room in your bags right?
I seem to remember that this was also an issue the last time around… in Season 15 which ran from 21 Sep 2018 to 6 Jan 2019.
But perhaps I’m remembering wrong…

Give you interesting insight to how it works. It’s behaving like a buff, rather than a passive effect, and therefore can’t be applied while dead.
Yes I did have enough inventory space.
The boss loot fit.
